Service Team Positions

Note:  Please consider volunteering for one of these positions.  There is no experience necessary -- training is available, if needed.  To do so, contact Pam Palmer at our Girl Scout Council 489-1025.

Our girls need your help!  The positions highlighted in RED need volunteers ASAP!

These are the positions the committee identified as needed in order for the new service unit to function effectively.  The committee agreed that flexibility in term limits and number of people filling the position is needed.  Other positions may be added as the year progresses.

Service Unit Managers – 2 co-managers, two year term.  One will serve as senior partner with the other as the junior partner.  After two years the senior partner will retire and the junior partner will take her place with a new junior partner.  For the 07/08 membership year Pam Palmer will serve as the senior partner while training a junior partner.

Service Unit Registrar – one person for entire service unit

Financial Consultant – one person for entire service unit

Head Recruiter/Troop Organizer – (2) to coordinate recruitment efforts of entire service unit

Recruiter/Troop Organizers – by individual schools or small communities

Head Program Consultant – will coordinate the work of the program consultants

Program Consultants- by age level for the entire service unit

              Daisy Program Consultants (2) - Still need 1 more volunteer

              1^st Grade Brownie Program Consultants (2)

              2^nd and 3^rd Grade Brownie Program Consultant (1)

              Junior Age Level Consultants (2) - Still need 1 more volunteer

              Cadette/Senior Age Level Program Consultant (1)

Training Liaison/Adult Recognition – one for  the entire service unit

Service unit cookie manager – one for the entire service unit. 

Family Partnership Chair- (1) chairperson will coordinate the work of the three Community Family Partnership Organizers

Family Partnership Community Organizers (3, by community) - Still need organizers for Forest Park, Greenhills and Wyoming
