Important
Update:
The Creating an Inclusive Culture in Girl Scouting course is
no longer a required training.
However, because the content of this course is so vital to the success
of the girls' experience, you are encouraged to participate in this
training. Also, leaders who were non-compliant due to not
completing the Creating an Inclusive Culture in Girl Scouting
course, are now compliant effective May 2008.
Service Unit
Award Ceremony
We had a
fantastic turnout for our first-ever Joining Hands
Service Unit Awards Ceremony! Congratulations to the girls who
won their gold, silver and bronze awards! Also,
congratulations to all our Outstanding Leader and Volunteer award
winners! We are very fortunate to have such dedicated and
caring individuals in our Service Unit.
Thanks for all you do!

Never Sew
Another Badge Again!
Badge Magic™
is the revolutionary new way to attach badges to Scout uniforms
without sewing. Their new “peel & stick” badge adhesive has been
tested on all Scout uniform materials and is guaranteed not to fall
off in the wash. Badge Magic is so simple to use, it’s like MAGIC!
Now Scouts can put the on their own badges! Never be stressed out by
having to sew new badges in time for the next Scout meeting! Badges
look great too! No stitch marks, no more crooked placement. And the
badges can be easily removed when desired! Recycle that uniform when
it gets too small. Badge
Magic™
is now being sold in the Girl Scout Store at Council.
